Objectives: The cruise objective was to recover a single mooring on the southern slope of Georges Bank and redeploy 2 moorings at the same site.

Summary: Arriving on station, we proceeded to make several passes over the mooring with grappling gear. The dragging operation proved unsuccessful and the decision was made to re-evaluate the mooring design prior to redeployment. Ship track: 410 nm (228 km); Moorings recovered: 0; Moorings deployed: 0.
