Objectives: Run seismic lines on and around Jeffreys Ledge to determine the origin and structure of some sediments surrounding Jeffreys Ledge and the structure and origin of the underlying sediments; observe the structure of the Presumpscot Formation flanking the western end of Jeffreys Ledge and determine if the deformation is related to a Late Wisconsin readvance of the continental ice sheet; and locate the offshore extension of the Clinton-Newbury and the Bloody Bluff faults.
