Objectives: Recover 2 tripods and 7 subsurface moorings; deploy 3 tripods and 10 subsurface moorings; deploy 3 sediment trap moorings at Mobil Lease Block 312; deploy 5 surface marker buoys and others as required; collect surface grab samples at Station A; and conduct CTD and XBT observations around Lydonia and Oceanographer Canyons.

Moorings deployed: 16 (#240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250, 251 all recovered FA 82020 OCEANUS 122 Jul. 6-15, 1982; #252 adrift recovered by fisherman Mar. 22, 1982; #253 tipped Jun. 11, 1982, float recovered by STATE PRIDE; #254 trap recovered by BEAUFORT SEAHORSE Jun. 11, 1982; #255 no recovery information). Surface buoys deployed: 4 (#LCA 1, LCL 2, OCA 2, GBS 2). Sediment grabs: 5; CTD stations: 42; XBT stations: 31; Bathymetric surveys: 6.
