Type of Activity: Seismic profiling
Information to be derived:
Summary: Various combinations of sources and hydrophones were tried. None yielded the results required to complete this work. The data are generally poor (Huntec did better than Datasonics). Seismic lines 4 (1340 hrs., Loran line 43950, North of Plum Island) and 6 (1540 hrs., Loran line 26220) have some interesting sections. All paper records, navigation tapes and notes are archived at the Long Island Sound Resource Center, UCONN-Avery Point.
