Area of Operations: Massachusetts Bay, Massachusetts, United States, North America, North Atlantic Dates: Mar 21, 2007 to Mar 21, 2007 Objectives: Collect sediment cores at Stations 2 and 3 for measurements or pore water profiles, erosion, solid phase chemistry. Collect bottom water at Station 2. Type of Activity: Sampling Information to be derived: Samples and Chemical Analysis Summary: 7 cores were collected from Station 3, 2 cores collected from Station 2. About 10 gallons of bottom water were collected at Station 2. All core cutting (for pore water) and erosion experiments were conducted after transporting cores back to the lab in Woods Hole.
