Objectives: Two one-day trips were conducted to recover sediment cores using a modified USGS gravity corer and a slide hammer corer. Two sediment traps were deployed near depressions in the reef platform. Scientific objective is to assess the impact of soil erosion from Molokai on the health of the adjacent coral reef.
